Hotel Am Spisertor - St. Gallen

The location was perfect for us party-loving teenagers, with the Theater St Gallen and Textile Museum just a hop, skip, and a jump away. We were able to soak up the cultural vibes during the day and then hit the town at night. Plus, the hotel had cable TV in our room, so we could chill and watch some awesome shows when we needed a break from all the adventure.

If there was one thing we wished for, it would be a cooler hangout spot for us young party-goers. The hotel was great for exploring the city during the day, but we wanted a place where we could gather with our friends and let loose in the evenings.

the hotel was great with excellent employees at reception desk. central heating, an individual safe, and flat-screen television in the room and the exceptionally comfortable bed. excellent breakfast, with a wide array of food. location very close to the centre and center of old town and the old town and abbey.

I truly enjoyed the nicely decorated and new-fashioned room and the staff were particularly helpful.

The hotel suited our needs for a pleasant three-night stay. the location was decent, just a 10-15 minute walk from a significant medieval monastic library and a residence for retired persons.

Clean and comfortable with a good continental-style buffet breakfast.

It initially felt a little strange to be staying in a hotel which is part of a retirement home but actually the hotel was very pleasant.

Absolutely great hotel located next to the old town, surrounded by bars and restaurants, the establishment and the train station. Very central location, within easy walking distance of the Cathedral. - Really helpful and super friendly staff, always with a smile.

Located directly at Spiesertor, a medeival city gate, the entire city centre may be reached on foot. Free parking is included. The prealpine countryside with view over Lake Constance is five minutes away by car or local narrow-gauge train. It's my 3rd stay here.

The location was straight fire, right in the heart of the old town. We checked out the Theater St Gallen and Textile Museum, and they were lit cultural experiences. The rooms had dope cable programming for entertainment, and all the fam under 6 years old were covered. #PerfectForMillennials

Yo, if I had to ask for one thing, it would be a better nightlife scene for us young party-goers. Time to turn up the volume and bring on the party vibes for us cool cats!

Very central location. Close walk to the train station (appr. 600 m, but cobbled pavement so take the public transport if carrying large suitcases). Simple but comfortable room. Good access to public transportation.

Very basic breakfast. Combination of mattress and bed covers is rather hot.

our stay at spisertor was absolutely delightful. the hotel's central location made it easy to explore st. gallen and enjoy the local shops and restaurants. the friendly staff and clean accommodations truly made our celebrating anniversary extra special. the free parking was a huge bonus!

The room was nice, and seemed new. And the bathroom was nice. The bed was good. The breakfast was the best breakfast I had, while travelling.

The location was ok, but took us maybe 20-30 minutes to walk from the train station. They closed the reception at 21.00! so it was difficult to get in when we arrived 21.30 to chech in!
